UNOH General

A donation to UNOH general will support the ministries of UNOH as needed. This often includes new projects which are not yet funded as they are just getting off the ground.
Gap Fund: At times donations may need to be shared among UNOH workers. ‘The Gap Fund’ helps fill the gap while UNOH workers find supporters who know them, trust them and believe in what they are doing. These funds are used for workers who are in need of additional financial support while they gather their support team. It also supports our resource staff who enable all the work of UNOH through the roles they do. Could you pray and join their venture of faith? Could you offer financial support to help cover their living and ministry expenses?
It may also be used to support our Resource staff, this team of dedicated resource staff ensure that all the administrative, financial, technological, legal and other roles are taken care of so that UNOH workers are able to do what they do in their communities.
Please indicate in the COMMENTS field below if you have a preference to which area you would like your donation be used, (i.e. GENERAL, GAP FUND, RESOURCE)

UNOH Workers

All UNOH workers rely on faith-support to meet their needs and fund their ministries. UNOH is not government-funded. UNOH workers need support to be able to remain available in the communities that they are ministering in. If you would like to donate, please go to UNOH Worker page or click on team member in list on the right.

Please note: From time-to-time we receive more donations than are needed for a particular worker or project. When this occurs funds are reallocated to other workers or projects in the same neighbourhood. Please advise if you are not happy for this to occur

UNOH uses a secure credit card payment gateway called CasConnect. You will be taken to their web site to facilitate the payment, then returned to the UNOH site once completed.

UNOH has the capacity to provide tax-deductibility for most donations - either under our own name for work in Australia, or through Global Mission Partners for work in developing countries. We are happy to provide tax-deductibility wherever we can. However, where donations are made without the requirement for tax-deductibility, UNOH has more flexibility in the use these donations. For example, we cannot use donations that have been given tax-deductibility, for activities that might be interpreted as "evangelism", and overseas, not all work in poverty relief is considered eligible for tax-deductibility, especially where we might be assisting individuals rather than doing community development.

As our workers in Australia are considered religious workers, we are not able to issue a tax deductible receipt for donations which are for payment of living expenses of Australian workers.

If you do not normally claim such donations as tax deductions when you do your income tax return, or if you do not earn enough the have to pay tax, then nominating NO for tax-deductibility is a good choice for UNOH and no cost to you. Moreover, you might simply choose to forego tax-deductibility in order to provide greater flexibility for UNOH in spending your donation.

NZ Donations
For those in NZ who want to donate to UNOH in NZ dollars, if you donate through UNOH Australia, you will incur a fee for foreign exchange and will not be able to claim a tax receipt because the donation will go to Australia (not NZ). If you would like to donate direct to UNOH NZ, please click here.
