  Hi Jon ..

  I think you’ll find the Family First would argue that they are not trying to be a Christian party - but many would say they are just playing with words, and denying the reality of where they’ve come from.

  Quite frankly, I don’t want others speaking politically on my behalf as the “christian” perspective on any issue…. except maybe you, of course Jon
  Let’s face it, the church is made up of wackos (and I’m pleased to be one of them) … so who would vote for us?

  aaah diversity - you can’t live without it!

  I think its good for Christians to get involved with parties that they have basic agreement with (none will ever meet all my requirements, unless I’m the only member), so that there is a bit of salt spread all around. Too much salt in the one place just causes hardening of the arteries …

  Agreed Mate! Unfortunately does that mean we ahve to have them in One Nation like parties?

  I suspect they are already there …. it seems that the far right always has its fair share of those who wear the “christian” label - whether they are being salt is another question

  I think the question should be… If a political party was TRULY Christian, would anyone vote for them..??

  What do you mean Tim? Love to hear your thoughts, cause I don’t think there could be a TRULY Chrsitian party, but am open to hear your take.
